About us.
Live Love Kucenski was started in 2023 as a way for me to connect more with my kids and to help them grow in skills and maturity before they head off to college or wherever life takes them.
My goal is to take each of my three kids to Africa on a mission trip when they are in high school. I’m drawn to take them to Africa to learn even more about love and community. I feel like African Bible College has partnered in communities that focus on loving their neighbors and helping to improve the community for the better of all.
In order to accomplish this goal we have to do fundraising and develop a skill to produce a product we can sell. My kids know that I enjoy woodworking and my oldest picked out picture frames. That means my kids are working with me in the garage building picture frames from 1x4s and 2x4s. It’s a lot of fun!
The other requirement is to complete volunteer work locally and beyond. My oldest already volunteers with AFJROTC in his high school. We have done some work with Live Love Chandler, but are excited to support their big project, The Oasis, a lot more in the future. You can check out our blog to see other mission work and giving that we have supported over the years.
Live Love
Selflessness
The American dream is built on consumerism and self. This is my outlet to counteract everything my kids have been taught by society and redirect them to giving, community, and selflessness.
Maturity
Individual Growth
Fundraising and building a product builds self esteem and leadership skills. It’s difficult to talk to strangers and ask for help. This forces them to do just that.
Missions
Service
I think we’re called to serve others and I personally feel called to support others financially that are less privileged in terms of money than I am. I support my local community as well as nations with communities living in extreme poverty.
