The Inspiration / Original
The vino picture was drawn by my wife 10 years ago and the frame is the first one I built. The image in the middle/right is our recreation of the frame and the default style we recommend.

Types of Decoration
Different decorations and finished can enhance the elegance of the frames.
Round nose grooves, v-nose grooves, and ovolos add dimension to the face of the frame. Those that don’t like the Roman ogee on the inside of the frame can opt for a more simple s-round or a traditional rounded or chamfered edge.

Low Profile Frames
I really love the large profile frames with natural redwood finishes, but we can also create low profile frames to give a less bulky appearance for smaller images, or if you want to minimize the impact of the frame. Below are a few examples we have made, but there are a countless number of choices and finishes you can request.

Floating Frames
We can make frames where the canvas actually floats inside the frame. Alternatively we can make pseudo floating frames where it just has the effect. You can see examples of both types below. We recommend actual floating frames, but ask that you give us precise canvas measurements to ensure a good fit. Pseudo floating frames will have 1/2″ larger depth from the canvas print so the picture will stick out further from the wall.

Custom Frames
We can make frames for images up to 90″ in either dimension pretty easily, but frame edges larger than 40″ may be joined together (2 or more pieces of wood). Similarly for large images shipping is more difficult so local delivery is recommended. Below is just one example to show a large, low profile frame with a very low profile. It’s nearly 7 feet tall!
