My younger sons got to see the Watoto Choir at our church. They put on a great performance. Then we signed up for an ongoing sponsorship of Ronald, who is two years older than my middle son and shares the same birthday. He’s hoping he can be a doctor when he grows up. I hope he has the support needed to achieve his dreams.

Ronald’s father passed away in 2013 and he was left in the care of his mother. She however struggled to make ends meet due to unemployment. Due to this situation, Ronald was not able to attend school. The District probation officer recommended him to Watoto Child Care Ministries for assistance. Ronald was warmly welcomed into the Watoto Home by a loving Watoto Mother, brothers and sister. At home, Ronald actively participates in house chores and enjoys playing at the swings in his free time. He is now a student in the Watoto School where he is receiving a wholesome education until he joins the university. He enjoys studying Mathematics and English writing the most. His desire is to become a doctor when he finishes his education. On Sunday, Ronald attends the Watoto Church services with his Watoto family where is learning about the love of God. Please pray for him to grow in the knowledge of God’s word as he is being mentored by Watoto Youth workers on the village. Thank you for the financial support that is enabling Watoto provide means to a bright future for Ronald.
